Police searching for answers following shooting in Penbrooke Meadows

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police continue to investigate a suspicious death in the southeast on Sunday.
Police said a man arrested following the death in Penbrooke Meadows has been released without charges.
Around 12:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, police were called to a report of shots being fired along Penworth Way S.E.,
Officers later found one person in critical, life-threatening condition who later died.

Police believe the shooting was domestic-related and out of respect for the privacy of the family, no further information will be released until an autopsy is completed.
