Police searching for suspect in Bridgeland arson

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Police are looking for a suspect in relation to arson in Bridgeland last month.

On Feb 2, 2020, a rear detached garage caught fire at a house on McDougall Rd N.E.

Police said the owner of the house was home but didn’t know about the fire until emergency crews arrived.

Several neighbours in the community told police they saw a man in the area of Edmonton Trail and 1 Ave N.E., on the day of the fire.

Police eventually found photos of the man at the Bridgeland Memorial CTrain station just before the fire.

If you know the man in the photos, you’re asked to call Calgary police or Crime Stoppers.
