CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A McDonald’s in Calgary’s community of Riverbend has closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
The case was confirmed yesterday and, out of caution, the restaurant has been closed down for cleaning and sanitation by a third party.
The restaurant has been in contact with Alberta Health Services (AHS) and will re-open once given direction by health officials.
All crew members who were in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine.
Anyone who visited the location on March 9 is asked to visit the AHS website for further details.
