Calgary police look for public help in unsolved murder cases

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary police say half of the ten homicides so far this year have been solved and are now asking for help in multiple open cases.

Police are still on the lookout for two men who may have information related to the murder of Aaron Elliot Castle.

On March 30, police responded to call of gunshots on 18 Avenue N.E. and, upon arrival, Castle was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police are now looking for Zach Boston Zorn and Dwayne Soroka.

Zorn is a 25-year-old man who goes by “Boston” and is wanted on unrelated warrants. He is about 5’8, 150 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Soroka is 37-years-old and is also wanted on a few unrelated warrants. He’s about 6′, 200 pounds with brown eyes and a shaved head.

In addition, the police are looking for two people who might have information on the homicide of Christophe Herblin and were identified from CCTV images.

Kiara Leather, aged 19, and Fritz Chiefmoon, aged 25, are believed to have information concerning Herblin’s murder.

Leather is described to be around 5’7″ with a medium build, black hair, and brown eyes.

Chiefmoon, also known as Fritz North Peigan, is about 6’3″ with a slim build, brown eyes, and brown hair that is often in a braid.
