Suspicious death in NE opens police investigation

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — The Calgary police Homicide Unit has responded to another suspicious death on Monday evening.
Just before 9 p.m. officers were called to Marian Crescent in the NE, near Marlborough Drive and 52nd Street, to reports of a woman in distress.
When police and EMS arrived they found the woman was dead and saw a man on scene in medical distress.
Paramedics transported the man to hospital in serious condition.
The investigation is ongoing and early indications show this incident is not related to another suspicious death early Monday morning in the NE.
