EDMONTON (660 NEWS) — Alberta business owners now have a new resource to help them out as they prepare to reopen as early as this week.

The province has launched Biz Connect, a website that includes industry-specific information, including hairdressers, daycares, restaurants and retail.

Economic Development, Tourism and Trade Minister Tanya Fir says this should help ease any concerns.

“This new business-specific webpage will help businesses learn more about the public health measures they need to have in place before reopening. These measures will help keep their staff and customers safer while operating during a pandemic,” Fir said.

There has been heavy criticism that not enough details had been given to this point as many businesses can possibly start opening on Thursday, although that date isn’t set in stone.
