One man dead following assault at Red Deer medical clinic

RED DEER (660 NEWS) – RCMP in Red Deer said one man has died following an assault at the Village Mall Walk-In Clinic Monday afternoon.
Police said the man was attacked with a weapon and sustained serious, life-threatening injuries.
He later died of injuries.
One man is in custody and there is no further threat to the public.
The clinic remains closed while police continue to investigate, and the public is asked to avoid the area.
