No live updates from Hinshaw until Monday

EDMONTON (660 NEWS) – Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health says her next live update on COVID-19 cases won’t be until Monday.

No reason was given for why Dr. Deena Hinshaw won’t be holding the updates for the rest of the week but in a tweet she said the information will still be posted online.

Hinshaw’s next live update is planned for the same day that an announcement could be made regarding the possible easing of restrictions.

Health Minister Tyler Shandro is scheduled to speak Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 where he’s expected to provide details on how pharmacies will be involved in the vaccination process.
