The province’s positivity rate saw a slight dip over the last day, with about 9.5 per cent of the 18,412 tests completed coming back positive.
After the province increased the window of eligibility to get a vaccine to those 40 and older, the province saw another good day of vaccine numbers.
Dr. Deena Hinshaw tweeting out Wednesday that nearly 36,000 Albertans got their shot. Bringing the provincial total of vaccines administered to over 1.23 million.
I remain concerned about the high spread in our province. We all must continue to work together on behalf of our loved ones, neighbours, co-workers and communities to bend the curve & drive cases down provincewide. (5/5)
