LETHBRIDGE (660 NEWS) – A jury has reached a verdict in a high-profile drug smuggling case against a husband and wife.
In December 2017 police said the couple tried to cross at the Coutts Border Crossing into Canada but were stopped by Canadian border officials.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) said they found 84 bricks of cocaine in the cab of the couple’s vehicle, one of the biggest drug seizures in Alberta’s history.
