Credits roll for Airdrie’s Roxy theatre

AIRDIRE – An Airdrie staple, the Roxy movie theatre, is lowering its curtain.

The theatre, which was owned by Landmark Cinemas, says in a Facebook post it will be closing permanently, effective Tuesday.

“We will miss you–but we’ll still have our movie memories,” the theatre writes.

Any gift cards, vouchers, or passes will be accepted at Calgary’s Landmark locations, including at Country Hills, Market Mall, and Shawnessy.
