CALGARY – Calgarians will once again be able to hop on a scooter for a ride around the city.
On Friday morning, 1,500 Bird and Neuron e-scooters were put into circulation for people to rent.
The city has added places where you can ride the e-scooters this year.

On top of being able to use them on bicycle lanes, pathways, and empty sidewalks, you can also now go for a scoot on roadways with lower speed limits and lower volume of traffic, such as 13 Avenue S.W., and in the temporary adaptive lanes.
Busier roads, like Macleod Trail, are off-limits.
The addition of e-scooters downtown is no longer a pilot project.
