CALGARY – Calgary’s football team cancelled practice Monday due to the smoke.
The CFL’s Stampeders announced on Twitter that the team would not be out on the field as the air quality in the city hits nine out of 10.
Update: Today's outdoor practice at McMahon Stadium has been cancelled due to smoke.

The wind has blown smoke from several fires burning in B.C. and one near Canmore into the city, creating a thick orange haze.
