Calgary mayoral candidate to be sentenced Wednesday

CALGARY – A man running to be Calgary’s mayor is scheduled to be sentenced Wednesday.
Kevin J. Johnston was found guilty of two counts of civil contempt for holding illegal gatherings during the pandemic.

Last week he pleaded guilty to hate crimes charges in Ontario.
He also still has a lingering case involving an assault charge in Dawson Creek, B.C.
