Alberta vaccine QR codes available, but not scannable yet

CALGARY – Albertans can now access their vaccination records with a secure QR code.

You can find your QR code by logging onto the Alberta COVID records website.

However, the website says the codes are not scannable yet, as the verification app to scan them is not yet ready.
“Alberta’s official app to scan COVID Record QR codes will be launched in the coming weeks, pending approval by app stores,” the province said in a statement.
“Albertans can continue to use any existing valid form of proof of vaccination, including their paper record from a vaccination provider or a download, screenshot, or printed copy of their proof of vaccination.”
