Calgary police looking for witnesses, suspects in Chinook Mall bear spray incident

Calgary police are hoping to track down suspects and witnesses in relation to a bear spraying incident at a popular mall earlier this year.

Investigators say that a fight broke out between a group of teens in the area near the food court around 4:40 p.m. on Oct. 29.

One of the people in the fight used bear spray and then bolted out the mall doors and toward Macleod Trail.

Police say several other mall patrons who were not involved in the fight were affected by the bear spray and needed help.

Officers are now looking for two suspects and have released photos in hopes of tacking them down.
