Edmonton man shot and killed by police, ASIRT investigating

A suspect who was wanted on two dozen outstanding provincial warrants and a Canada-wide warrant, was shot and killed by police Saturday according to the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) who are now investigating.
ASIRT explains, around 11 p.m, the city’s southwest police received reports of the male suspect in question near 109 St. and 53 Ave.
Officers that responded saw the man enter an unidentified vehicle with two female passengers and drive to a building on 105 Street and 38 Avenue.
After the female passengers left the vehicle, a confrontation between the man and the officers, lead to the man being shot.
