Man seriously injured following assault in northeast Calgary

One man was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition after being assaulted in Calgary’s northeast Tuesday morning.
Police say the man in his 40s is believed to have been assaulted sometime before 4 a.m. along Sunridge Boulevard, near 27 Street NE.
No further information was available, but police say they are still looking for a suspect.
