Calgary man stabbed at Franklin LRT station, police searching for suspect

Calgary police are on the hunt for a man after another man was stabbed at a train station in the northeast on Tuesday.

Police were called to the Franklin LRT station, just east of Deerfoot Trail, around 2:45 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, police found a man with stab wounds and he was promptly taken to hospital in serious condition.

Not long after the incident, police located the suspect downtown and arrested them.

Police say charges are now pending.
