Calgary Police are now looking for a truck that may have been involved in the shooting that took place in Crescent Heights last week.
Around 8:30 p.m. on Apr. 1, CPS responded to a call of someone allegedly being assaulted with a weapon along 16th Avenue N.W.
Police say multiple shots were fired into a parked vehicle, not long after two people leaving a restaurant got in it.
The victim then fled the scene and was met by emergency crews at 16 Avenue and Deerfoot trail where he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say the offenders were using a white 2011 GMC Sierra truck that had been stolen from a residence in Priddis between March 30 to March 31.
It is believed that the suspects also fled toward Edmonton Trail.
