Calgary Saddle Ridge shooting leaves one person dead

A shooting in Calgary’s northeast end has left one person dead.
Police were called to a home on Saddlecrest Boulevard N.E. in the community of Saddle Ridge shortly after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday for multiple reports of gunshots.
When they arrived, officers found the body of a man who appeared to have been shot. The victim has been identified as Hisham Ahmed, 24.
Calgary police are now out looking for a suspect vehicle that may have been involved in the incident which has been described as a dark coloured 2003 to 2006 GMC Sierra truck.

If this incident is determined to be a homicide, this will be Calgary’s 11th of 2022.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or any earlier suspicious activity in the area to contact them at 403-266-1234 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
