Suspect vehicle found in Saddleridge homicide: CPS

Calgary police say they have located the suspect vehicle believed to be involved in a fatal shooting earlier this week.

On April 20 around 10:30 p.m. police were called to Saddlecrest Boulevard N.E. for reports of a man who had been shot.

Upon arrival, police say they found a man who appeared to have been shot.

The victim was identified as 24-year-old Hisham Ahmed.

Investigators say they have now located the suspect vehicle that was involved in the incident.

If the incident is determined to be a homicide, it will be Calgary’s 11th of 2022.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or any earlier suspicious activity in the area to contact them at 403-266-1234 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
