Calgary police are looking for several people they believe are responsible for stabbing a man at the SAIT CTrain station earlier this week.
Investigators say they have pictures of six people from Calgary Transit’s CCTV system that they are hoping to identify.
It happened just before 5:30 a.m., on Wednesday, April 27, when police were called to the SAIT/AUArts/Jubilee LRT station for reports of a man in medical distress. When they got there they found a man with a serious neck injury and he was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.

Police allege that the six people assaulted the man in a stairwell connecting the Jubilee Auditorium and the CTrain station, adding the man was stabbed and the group of people ran away.
The man then made his way up the stairs to the CTrain platform, leaving a trail of blood. He then pressed the emergency button to call for help and emergency crews found him, bringing him to hospital where he is now recovering in stable condition.
Anyone with information about this stabbing is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234 or online through Crime Stoppers.
