Two seriously injured in collision between pickup truck, SUV north of Cochrane: RCMP

Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and SUV north of Cochrane on Saturday.
Cochrane RCMP say the collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 22 and Highway 567.
Officers were on location Saturday afternoon.

STARS Air Ambulance was also on the scene attending to the two people with serious injuries.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area, and instead to seek alternate routes.
