Caribbean carnival Carifest parade returned to Calgary this weekend

The Caribbean Community Council of Calgary held a parade called “You Me We Carifest” on Saturday.

The event took place along 8 Avenue from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Parade goers walked from Olympic Plaza to Shaw Millennium Park.

For the main festival, there were food vendors, beer gardens, and a kids zone at the park from 1-8 p.m. Saturday.
