Mounties ask public for help after finding vehicles, stolen property near Langdon

Strathmore RCMP is asking the public for help in locating a suspect in a stolen vehicle investigation.
Mounties went to a rural property in Rocky View County near the hamlet of Langdon around 8:10 a.m. on August 3rd looking for a stolen vehicle.
Once on scene, officers encountered another vehicle later determined to be stolen fleeing the property.

After pursuing the vehicle with the assistance of HAWCS for close to four hours, Mounties called off the chase.
The stolen pickup was later recovered in Airdrie with the suspect escaping in a maroon-colored Chevrolet Avalanche which was parked nearby, and was also determined to be stolen.
The suspect is described as a man in his mid 20’s to mid 30’s with a dark-coloured sweater and ball cap.
A subsequent search of the rural property led to the discovery of a total of nine vehicles, one trailer filled with property believed to be stolen, one rifle, and one motorbike.
The investigation is ongoing and charges are expected on at least one individual.
