Calgary police still searching for suspect in Evergreen shooting

Calgary police remain on the lookout for a shooting suspect that left one woman dead, and a man in life-threatening condition on Aug. 18.
The incident happened just before 8:30 a.m. near Everwoods Court SW in the community of Evergreen.

31-year-old Nakita Baron was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition. Police say the man is still in hospital in stable condition.
Officers say they are looking at all the evidence available to them, but are asking for the public’s help with finding this suspect.
The suspect is described as 25 to 35 years old, between 5’8″ to 6′, 180 lbs, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hard hat with a black hood, a bright orange T-shirt with a yellow reflective vest, and dark-coloured pants.
