Calgary police are asking for help identifying a man suspected of stabbing a woman multiple times in the downtown commercial district weeks ago.
Investigators say it happened Thursday, Sept. 22, when a man and a woman got into “an altercation” in an alley near the intersection of 5 Street SW and 5 Avenue SW.
The man stabbed the woman several times. She ran to a Good Samaritan for help, who called emergency crews to the area. She was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
Officers say they have been following numerous leads to try and figure out who the man is, but have had no luck.
