Calgary man arrested in connection with random attacks

Calgary police say a man who was wanted in connection with several random attacks downtown has been arrested.

CPS says the attacks happened between May and October of this year.

Police allege the suspect argues with people before hitting them with “an object in his hand.”

Thirty-seven-year-old Cashe Tyler Erskine, who also goes by “Cashew”, Erskine was arrested on 14 warrants, including assault and theft under $5,000.

Erskine is known to frequently visit Tomkins Park on 17 Avenue SW between 7 Street SW and 8 Street SW.
