Canada’s Martha And The Muffins carry on amidst adversity

Martha And The Muffins lead singer and founding member Martha Johnson was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2000 and fellow founding member and guitarist Mark Gane battled prostate cancer.
That hasn’t stopped the real-life Ontario couple from continuing on and producing music on the heels of a string of hits in the 1980s including their biggest, ‘Echo Beach’ in 1980.
