Two people hurt in serious crash near Calgary International Airport

Two people were sent to hospital after a serious crash in the northeast part of the city near the Calgary International Airport Friday.

EMS say it happened around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Metis Trail and Airport Trail.

One person was taken to hospital in critical life-threatening condition, and another was taken in stable condition.

Roads in the area were closed for hours as police investigated the crash.
