City of Calgary operating hours for the holidays

The City of Calgary says it’s adjusting its hours of operation this holiday.

“We will have adjusted service for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day,” the city said in a statement.

The city adds the outdoor public skating rink at Olympic Plaza will be open from 10 a.m. until midnight through the holidays.

Meanwhile, on New Year’s Eve, the city will be closing three roads downtown from 11:30 p.m. Dec. 31, to 12:15 a.m. Jan. 1, 2023 for pedestrian and traffic safety.
