Calgary police: Charges laid for Keanan Crane case

Two men have been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of 22-year-old Keanan Crane, according to the Calgary Police Service (CPS).

Thirty-nine-year-old Darren Bulldog of Calgary was arrested on Feb. 10, and 32-year-old Jason Tait of Edmonton was arrested on Wednesday.

Bulldog is scheduled to appear in court on March 3, while Tait is scheduled for an appearance on March 10.

The CPS says officers found the remains of an unknown victim near Morley, Alberta, on May 15, 2022. They soon identified the victim as Crane “who had been reported missing a month earlier.”

According to police, Crane was reported missing by his family on April 25.

Officers believe Crane died in Calgary and that his remains were moved outside of the city.
