Calgary police looking for man wanted on 50 warrants

The Calgary Police service (CPS) is looking for a man who’s wanted under 50 assault and firearm related charges.

Police took to Twitter to ask people to help them locate 32-year-old Raymond Edward Bennett.

Bennett is described as 5’8″ tall, brown eyes, black hair, and weighs 200 lbs.

Police add the charges include possession of a prohibited firearm, assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm, uttering threats to cause bodily harm, assaulting a peace officer, and running away from lawful custody.

They also warn people to not approach him. They recommend calling police instead, when it’s safe to do so.

Anyone with information about Bennett is asked to call CPS at 403-266-1234, or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
