Calgary police searching for man wanted on warrants after NE break and enter

Calgary police want the public’s help locating a man wanted on eight outstanding warrants.
Around 4 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, police were called to the Shawarma Barlow restaurant on Meridian Road northeast for reports of a break and enter.
Once on scene police found a severely damaged garage door but the suspect had already fled.

Nothing was taken from the restaurant and the motive behind the break-and-enter remains unknown.
40-year-old Justin Taylor Hartland has since been identified as the suspect and is facing break and enter charges along with 28 additional charges on seven other warrants for fraud, break and enter, stolen property, and breach of probation-related offences.
He’s described as 6’3″ tall and approximately 210 pounds, with a slim build, brown hair, and brown eyes.
