Calgary police seek information in hit-and-run involving passenger van

Calgary police are asking the public to help find a vehicle they believe was involved in a Monday hit-and-run that left two young children with minor injuries.
Just before 2 p.m. Monday, a silver passenger van was travelling east on 64 Avenue NE before taking the southbound Deerfoot Trail offramp, according to investigators.
A 2006 to 2012 silver Chevrolet Impala was travelling west on 64 Avenue NE and struck the side of the van while also turning onto the Deerfoot offramp, they add.
Police say the suspect vehicle continued southbound on Deerfoot Trail and did not remain on scene.

Investigators believe the vehicle would have extensive frontend damage due to the collision.
As a result of the collision, two young children inside the van sustained minor injuries.
