Man in custody following Calgary police standoff

Calgary police found themselves in a standoff Monday after a suspect barricaded himself inside a home in Forest Lawn in the city’s southeast.
Police say it came after they attempted to stop a stolen motorcycle just before 9 a.m.
The suspect was then tracked to a home on Fonda Way by a police helicopter, and when police tried to arrest the man about an hour later, he ran into the house and refused to come out.
The man was eventually taken into custody early Monday evening.
No word yet on any charges.
Officers say he has multiple outstanding warrants.
