Some Calgary CTrain stations, arenas, closed over long weekend

There are a few modifications to city services in Calgary this long weekend.

All downtown CTrain stations will be closed from Saturday until Monday. The closures include Sunalta to Bridgeland/ Memorial on the Blue Line, Sunnyside to 39 Avenue on the Red Line.

The city says the closures will allow crews to perform maintenance and repairs. Shuttle buses will be operating for transit users.

Arenas will be closed on Monday, which is Victoria Day.

Southland and Village Square Leisure Centres will be closed along with city indoor pools and fitness facilities.

The city adds there will be no street sweeping on Monday.
