Tattoo artist faces 11 counts of sexual assault: Cold Lake RCMP

Mounties say a tattoo artist in Cold Lake is facing 11 counts of sexual assault against 11 different victims.

The accused was arrested on May 24 after an investigation into allegations of sexual assault while providing tattoo services at a local tattoo studio.

The Cold Lake RCMP alleges the offences happened between 2015 and May 24, 2023.

Police say they were contacted by other victims who reported being sexually assaulted in a “similar manner” by 67-year-old Dale Amos.

His charges include sexual assault with a weapon, sexual assault, and assault with a weapon.

Officers say Amos is expected to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Cold Lake on Sept. 13.

In the meantime, officers say if there are other victims out there, they are encouraged to come forward to report.
