Laughter is the best medicine: Canada’s Sass Jordan reflects on 40-year career

Canadian singer Sass Jordan owes her roots to growing up in the flourishing music scene in the 70s in Montreal which included an in-your-face eclectic mix of glam, punk, blues, prog, metal, country, jazz and folk.

Her first single “Tell Somebody” from her self-titled debut won her a Juno Award in 1989 for Most Promising Female Vocalist.

Jordan sat down for a chat with City’s Todd Kaufman prior to a stop in Edmonton on November 11.
