Calgary under snowfall warning: ECCC

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a snowfall warning for Calgary and other parts of southern Alberta, after several days of unseasonably warm, dry weather.

ECCC says Wednesday evening will bring periods of rain changing to snow, which will amount to around two to four centimetres.

The forecasted low is 0°C.

Snow is on the menu for Thursday — between five and 10 centimetres.

Thursday’s low is -5°C with a windchill of -8°C.

The sunshine returns for the weekend, with a sun and cloud mix expected for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
