Beiseker church fire deemed arson, Airdrie RCMP say

A fire that broke out at a church in Beiseker early Wednesday morning is being investigated as an arson, Airdrie RCMP say.

Mounties say they received a call for a fire at the Beiseker Seventh Day Adventist Church located at Range Road 242 in Wheatland County at 6:24 a.m. on Dec. 20.

The church in Beiseker is around 50 kilometres northeast of Calgary.

“When fire crews arrived, the Church was fully engulfed in flames,” RCMP said in a news release.
