Body found in Bow River near Prince’s Island Park: Calgary police

Calgary police are investigating after a body was found in the Bow River on Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called to the riverbank north of Prince’s Island Park, just west of Centre Street, at approximately 1:40 p.m., following reports of a body in the water.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been called in.

Police have confirmed the death is not believed to be suspicious or criminal.

No further information will be released.
