Sundre resident charged with second-degree murder in Mountain View County shooting death

Charges have been laid in last week’s shooting death of a man in Mountain View County.

Police say they responded to a report on Thursday that a man had been shot at a home northeast of Sundre.

36-year-old Justin Goodhand was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later, and an autopsy yesterday concluded his
death was a homicide.

36-year-old Richard Mcculloch of Sundre has been charged with second-degree murder and will appear in court on Sunday.
