Innisfail RCMP investigating fatal hit and run

RCMP in central Alberta are investigating a fatal hit and run Thursday morning.
On March 28, around 8:14 a.m., Innisfail RCMP were dispatched to a fatal hit and run on Highway 590, 22 kilometres east of Innisfail near the intersection of Highway 590 and Highway 805.
Police and EMS found a deceased man in the south ditch of Highway 590.
Officers are still on scene as the investigation continues.
Police aren’t releasing the identity of the victim at the time.
Investigators are looking to speak to any drivers that were in the area at that time that may have information, particularly dashcam footage.
The suspect vehicle is currently not known but police say it would have damage; specifically the passenger-side mirror would be missing.
