Man allegedly assaulted at Market Mall: Calgary police

A man was allegedly attacked by three teens at Market Mall in northwest Calgary Saturday afternoon, police say.

Officers arrived at the mall on Shaganappi Trail just before 3 p.m., where the victim is believed to have been approached at the food court by three teens who then assaulted him.

They say the victim believed they had a firearm.

Meanwhile, police say they found the teens at a nearby transit shelter and “challenged” them, seizing a can of bear spray upon arrest.

The teens are between the ages of 14 and 15.

No further information has been released as police say there is an ongoing investigation.
