1 in critical condition after SE Calgary attack

There was a scary scene in Forest Lawn early Thursday morning.

“One person was seriously injured, transported in critical condition, and the second person has a laceration on his head and he was transported to hospital,” Staff Sgt. Ryan Johnson with the Calgary Police Service (CPS), told CityNews.

Police say officers responded to 17 Avenue and 37 Street SE on International Avenue, around 3:30 a.m.

There, they found two people, a man and a woman, with numerous injuries.

Very few other details are being provided right now, but police say they are looking for a man they believe is involved in the attack.
