    Investigators say on Saturday, Sept. 14 around 2 a.m., someone broke into a 2020 Porsche Macan S while it was parked on the street in the 4700 block of 19 Avenue NW.

    Several items were taken from the SUV, including cardiac surgery equipment worth at least $28,000.

    The stolen equipment is highly specialized and used mainly for minimally invasive cardiac surgeries done by just a handful of surgeons in Canada, according to police.

    Anyone with information or CCTV footage related to this incident is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234 or tip anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
