Calgary Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who allegedly had a stranger interaction with some pre-teens over the summer.

Calgary police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspicious man who allegedly had a strange interaction with some pre-teens over the summer.

Around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, two young people were walking to their house in the northeast community of Taradale when they were approached by a man.

Police say the man extended his hand as if to greet the youth, and when one of them shook it, the man clutched their hand and pulled at them.

The victim broke free and ran away, according to investigators.

It is believed the man goes by Prabhdeep and is around 25 years old and 160 pounds with a muscular build, black hair, and a black beard.

He also has a cut on his left eyebrow and visible tattoos on his arm.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing tight-fitting clothes, a silver bracelet, and a dark-coloured watch.
