Calgary man wins lottery for second time, now $5M richer
A Calgary man is $5 million richer after winning a LOTTO 6/49 draw last month.
The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) says Osman Adam bought his winning ticket at the 7-Eleven on 17 Avenue SE.
He is no stranger to the winner’s circle, having won a lottery prize of $1 million in May 2021.

With that win, Adam bought a house and a vehicle, both of which he is still enjoying.
“I look at it like: I just bought a new vehicle [when I won] last time,” he said. “I liked it three years ago, and I don’t want a new one now.”
This time around he is looking to invest in real estate, stocks, and bonds, and maybe taking his family on a vacation.
